The Weekenders

It won't surprise you to know that I have a fondness for Scooters, especially Lambrettas and that I also have a love for Northern Soul Music, so there is the starting point for Weekenders, though this painting isn't just a celebration of going to all nighters and dancing the weekend away off your noggin on amphetamines.

Weekenders is about the vitality of youth, whether that's an age or a mind thing, it's about being in love and about grasping the moment and enjoying life to the full, though I would definitely advise you do this without the aid of chemicals if at all possible . Keep the faith.
