The Dogs are Alright

When I was young I would ask my parents on a weekly basis if I could have a dog, I even promised that I would take it out for walks! But sadly they would answer 'no' and eventually over the years I resigned myself to the fact that I would never own a dog. So the next best thing is to paint pictures of dogs. My imaginary four legged friends.
“'The Dogs Are Alright ' celebrates all types of dogs and the joy they bring to us dog lovers. Some of my most popular paintings are my dog pictures, so it is great to be able to devote an exhibition to the canine world.
The exhibition runs from Saturday 7 May till Saturday 18 June, at a Month of Sundays Gallery, 365 Sharrow Vale Road, Sheffield, S11 8ZG. There is a special launch day on Saturday 7 May that is open to people and their dogs. Entry to the gallery is free and is open Tuesday - Saturday 10am till 5pm.

Excellent Pete. Don't know if I'll be down in Yorkshire at all this year but I would love to come along to this if I got the chance. Your dogs are amongst my favourite characters... I'm sure you'll get a great turnout and hopefully some of them will be human. Anne B.
