Paul Smith Leeds gets the Pete McKee treatment!
Hot on the heels of the successful Teenage Kicks exhibition at Paul Smith in Tokyo, I am once again teaming up with the iconic designer, this time to stage an exhibition in the Paul Smith Shop in Leeds. This exhibition is being held to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Victoria Quarter, within which the shop is situated, and will run from the 14th October for 2 weeks.
The exhibition will comprise of a hand-picked collection of original images which demonstrate my passion for music, fashion and cultural identity, all benchmarks of the Paul Smith ideology. Alongside these images the shop will also be selling copies of my critically acclaimed limited edition book ‘Teenage Kicks’ and exclusive framed prints.
“As you can imagine I was honoured to be approached by Paul at the start of the year, and over the various projects I have been asked to collaborate on I have had the pleasure of getting to know him better. I can honestly say the man is an inspiration, I have always been a fan, but he has now also become something of a mentor to me.”
