Meeting a Champion

Living in Sheffield affords me some luxuries like having the odd pint with Richard Hawley and being able to put Henderson’s Relish on my Meat and Potato pie. Another plus is being able to have the opportunity to meet the fabulous Jessica Ennis, while she trains for the Olympics next year. I popped in to present her with a little painting I did to commemorate her victory in the World Championships back in 2009 and to also pass on a couple of my Sheffield Telegraph sports cartoons. To say she could throw a shot put 50 times further than me, she’s but a slip of a lass. All the best for 2012 Jess.
